Security Enhancement for NL ORM Portal Access
Reason: As part of our ongoing security improvements, we will implement additional access controls on the Netherlands ORM portals. The ORM portal is used to manage IVR menus, opening hours, holiday schedules, and other telephony-related settings. To further reduce the risk of unauthorized access, access to the portal will be protected through Geo-IP filtering. Impact: From 1 October 2026, access to the ORM portal will, by default, only be permitted from IP addresses originating from the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Users accessing the portal from these countries are not expected to experience any impact. Users accessing the portal from any other country may lose access once this change is implemented, unless their public IP address has been approved and added to the whitelist. Checks: Before and after the change, we will validate portal accessibility and confirm that approved and whitelisted IP addresses can successfully connect to the service. Rollback: If unexpected issues are identified following implementation, the access restrictions can be reverted while further investigation is carried out. User actions: If your organization has offices or users accessing the ORM portal from countries outside the Netherlands or the United Kingdom, please submit a case through our Self-Service Portal before 1 October 2026. Please include the following information in your request: - Public IP address or IP subnet of the affected location(s); - Name and location of the office(s); - Contact person for any follow-up questions. To ensure a manageable and secure access policy, we strongly recommend accessing the portal through corporate office networks or via a corporate VPN whenever possible. Office IP addresses are generally more stable and easier to maintain on the whitelist. Home internet connections are often assigned dynamic public IP addresses that may change over time, which can result in loss of access and require additional whitelist updates. Once received, the pro…
